Tuition provides not even 50% of the total operating budget for the school. The cost to educate one student at The Shiner Catholic School is approximately $4,000.00. Fundraisers and parish investment allow us to have tuition rates which are much lower than the actual cost to educate each child.
Grandparents and others who pay tuition for multiple families do not get the family rate unless the children have been legally adopted by the family paying tuition.
No child is denied admission to Shiner Catholic School solely due to financial hardship. Scholarships for which families may apply are available through the Father Sean Donohue St. Nicholas Society. Paperwork/applications entitled "FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment" are available.

For those families paying through FACTS: a $38 enrollment set-up fee will be charged to your account within 2 weeks of being posted in the FACTS system.
3% discount (applied to tuition fees only) for those families paying in full by August 1, 2007.
2% discount (applied to tuition fees only) for those families paying by 50% by August 1, 2007 and remaining 50% in January 2008.
** In order to qualify for "In Parish" Tuition, a family must have contributed at least $300 to Sts. Cyril & Methodius Church during the previous Church calendar year (January-December).
